All track users must hold a valid driving licence. The event is a non-competitive event and in this regard crash helmets are strongly discouraged.

All vehicles using the venue other than 'static display' vehicles must be insured and hold a valid license for the public highway. The event is not suitable for competition vehicles other than for static display.

Camping At Pugfest 2016

So why not make your Pugfest '16 experience even better and camp at the site so you feel fresh and raring to go on Sunday morning - or perhaps not after several beers!

All camping tickets are pre-paid only please so that we can manage the volume of attendees and plan the pitch space this way. We are looking into setting up afternoon and evening entertainment to build a 'club spirit' for 2016's show and more information will follow soon in this regard.

Tickets are on sale from the PSCUK shop now!

Members Camping vs Non-Members Camping

Both camping tickets allow you to arrive on the Saturday afternoon between 15:00 and 21:00 (strictly no entry after 21:00) so you can sample a bear (or 5) with your mates as a warm up for the Sunday show (with early entry granted from 07:30 on Sunday). Camping tickets are strictly advance purchase only; turning up on Saturday expecting to get in will result in you being turned away.

Where a Members ticket differs is that Members have access to park in the paddock (as do specially invited clubs).

Camping Rules

Sorry, now the boring bit!
So that we can make this event enjoyable for all and ensure that we can return to Prescott in 2017, please make every effort to follow these rules; failure to do so may result in you being ejected from the site.

Arrival / Departure
Pitches are available from 15:00 on the Saturday. You are requested to vacate your pitch by 10:00 on Sunday please. Camping tickets must be shown on arrival.

Late Arrivals
The last arrival is by 21:00 and admittance will NOT be granted after 21:00. No exceptions, sorry.

Pitches
Please note that due to fire regulations you must pitch your tent away from the vehicle car parks. The pitches are planned to be around a central Marquee and you will be directed to an area to pitch your tent.

Speed Limit
The speed limit on-site is 5mph. Amy person found damaging the grass by driving recklessly will be asked to leave.

Generators
Generators are allowed but cannot be used beyond 22:00. In addition, based on issues at previous Pugfest events, no sleeping in cars with/without engines running will be allowed.

Barbecues
Because of the danger of damaging the grassed camping area, open fires are not allowed on-site. Barbecues may be lit provided they are raised off the ground and are in a suitable container. Please ensure the smoke and fumes do not annoy other site users.

Fireworks
Under no circumstances must fireworks or other incendiary items be brought into the campsite.

Pets
We do not allow pets onto the site under any circumstances, sorry.

Noise
Please keep noise at a level which will not disturb other site users, especially between 00:00 and 07:00. No running engines or loud music that can be heard by other campers after 22:00 please.

Toilet Facilities
There is a block of toilets and one (1) shower at Prescott for all to use, free of charge.

Cleanliness
We make every effort to keep the site facilities clean and tidy and ask for your assistance in maintaining this standard by using the refuse and recycling bins provided, and by leaving all facilities clean after use.

A copy of these rules will be sent to you with your tickets for reference.

ABOUT

History of Pugfest

In 1986 the first annual convention was held at Bruntingthorpe in Leicestershire. A venue since used by various other clubs after the Peugeot GTI club paved the way. The annual convention continued to be financed by Peugeot until 1995, which enabled the club to hire Silverstone for a number of years.

Having to be self-financing was proving to be challenging, and less expensive venues had to be found. The motor industry proving ground, near Nuneaton turned out to be a great venue from 1998 through to 2000, but restrictions on this venues usage meant another venue had to be found. 'Pugfest 01' was subsequently held as a static event in 2001, but then with track days ever more popular, and the availability of circuits getting more and more expensive, as well as hard to find, the committee struck upon the idea of a hill climb.

In 2002 the famous Prescott Hill in Gloucestershire was booked, where the convention has been held ever since. Since 2001 the convention has been called 'Pugfest' and has attracted thousands of visitors. 'Pugfest 2010' saw the club celebrating its 25 years of Peugeot enthusiasm!

2014 saw the celebration of 30 years of the 205 GTi with a heartstopping cavalcade up the hillclimb and a similar (albeit smaller) display in 2015 for the 309 GTi anniversary

Why not join us at the next one? All Peugeot owners are welcome to the event.

PSCUK Membership Benefits

Membership is a bargain £20 and includes a joining pack which currently includes a branded tax disc holder and rear window sticker.

Members receive regular issues of our exclusive club magazine, "Torque" that includes road tests of new Peugeot models, news from Peugeot, Race and Rally news plus club news, views and readers letters. We also offer a unique opportunity to get your car featured in the our dedicated Peugeot Sport Club magazine.

We pay a substantial but competitive fee for the issue of this quality publication but we feel that this offers our members more that just a discussion forum - more of a whole club experience in our opinion.

*We do not make any profit from the membership fees that we charge. The Torque publication costs in excess of £1300 per issue and the Paypal/Worldpay fees and joining pack costs means that we break even on our membership fee. We are committed to not increasing this membership fee as we believe it offers good value. We are a club run by members for members and this ethos is one we will not deviate from.

Members also benefit from:

  • Club Website at www.pscuk.net with members only area
  • Download over 700+ files of unique Peugeot information from our extensive on-line library - the biggest in the world!
  • MSA membership
  • Our own National annual summer PUGFEST convention - The UK's largest gathering of Sporting Peugeots and Owners, with discounted entry and paddock parking exclusivity for members
  • Club Insurance Schemes
  • Discounts on parts and labour at many Peugeot dealers and specialists
  • Discounts at various events throughout the year, including recent Curborough visits which saw substantial discounts for members
  • Discounted exclusive Club merchandise with more in development (including discounted prices on re-manufactured parts - our new continued initiative for which we have even more parts planned)
  • Local group meetings and events
  • TV and Magazine Features
  • Have a chance of getting your car on the PSCUK Classic Car Show stand at the NEC in November 2016 (subject to stand approval)
